V6 Brass Nozzle 1.75mm

V6 Brass Nozzle 1.75mm standard aftermarket E3D replica M6 threaded 3D printer nozzles. Fits most M6 threaded hotends. Suitable for non-abrasive filaments such as pla, abs, petg etc. Great replacement nozzle ideal for 3D printing draft or prototype quality prints.

Reliable V6 Brass Nozzle 1.75mm for M6 E3D-Style Hotends

The V6 Brass Nozzle 1.75mm is a standard aftermarket E3D-style replica nozzle designed for compatible M6 threaded 3D printer hotends. It is made for 1.75mm filament systems and is suitable for common non-abrasive materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG, and similar everyday printing filaments.

Brass nozzles are one of the most common nozzle choices in FDM 3D printing because brass provides good thermal conductivity, low cost, and clean machining for small nozzle openings. This makes the V6 Brass Nozzle 1.75mm a practical replacement nozzle for general printing, draft-quality work, prototype parts, test prints, maintenance, and everyday shop use.

Standard M6 E3D-Style Nozzle Fit

This nozzle uses an M6 thread and is intended for most compatible V6-style hotends that accept standard M6 E3D-style nozzles. Before ordering, confirm your hotend style, thread size, filament diameter, and nozzle length. A mismatched nozzle can cause leaks, poor heat transfer, clogging, or damage to the heater block.

Designed for 1.75mm Filament

The nozzle is designed for 1.75mm filament systems. It is suitable for non-abrasive filaments such as PLA, ABS, PETG, and similar materials. For abrasive materials such as carbon fiber-filled, glow-in-the-dark, metal-filled, or glass-filled filament, use a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle instead of brass.

Choose the Right Nozzle Size

This product is available in multiple nozzle size options: 0.2mm, 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.35mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm, and 1.0mm. Smaller nozzles can help with fine detail, while larger nozzles can improve flow rate and reduce print time for larger parts. The common 0.4mm size is a good general-purpose option for many 3D printers.

Great for Draft Prints, Prototypes, and General 3D Printing

A brass V6-style nozzle is ideal for day-to-day 3D printing where cost, availability, and thermal performance matter. It is a useful spare part for printer maintenance, material changes, troubleshooting, and testing different extrusion widths. Keeping extra nozzles on hand can help reduce downtime when a nozzle becomes worn, clogged, or contaminated.

Brass Nozzle Properties

Brass offers good heat transfer and is easy to machine accurately, but it has lower hardness and wear resistance than hardened nozzle materials. This is why brass is best used for non-abrasive materials. It is a cost-effective choice for standard PLA, ABS, PETG, and similar filaments, but it can wear faster if used with abrasive composites.

Installation & Care

Confirm Hotend Compatibility

Before installing the V6 Brass Nozzle 1.75mm, confirm that your printer uses a compatible M6 threaded V6-style or E3D-style hotend. Check the nozzle thread, filament diameter, heater block style, and nozzle length before installation.

Install Carefully to Avoid Cross-Threading

Start the nozzle by hand whenever possible. If the nozzle does not thread in smoothly, stop and check alignment. Cross-threading can damage the brass nozzle, heater block, or hotend assembly.

Hot-Tighten Using Proper Printer Procedure

Many V6-style hotends require the nozzle to be tightened at printing temperature so the nozzle seals correctly against the heat break. Follow your printer or hotend manufacturer’s procedure. Use controlled torque and avoid over-tightening, as brass is softer than steel and can be damaged by excessive force.

Use with Non-Abrasive Filaments

Brass nozzles are best suited for PLA, ABS, PETG, and similar non-abrasive filaments. Avoid using brass nozzles for abrasive materials such as carbon fiber, glow-in-the-dark, metal-filled, glass-filled, or heavily filled composite filaments. Abrasive materials can enlarge or wear the nozzle opening and reduce print quality.

Choose the Correct Nozzle Size

Select the nozzle size based on your desired balance of detail, strength, and print speed. Smaller nozzle sizes can improve fine detail but require slower print speeds. Larger nozzle sizes can improve flow and reduce print time for larger parts but may reduce fine detail.

Keep the Nozzle Clean

Keep the nozzle tip free from burnt filament, debris, and residue. Use appropriate cleaning methods for your filament and printer. Do not scrape aggressively with hard tools, as brass can be scratched or damaged.

Replace Worn or Clogged Nozzles

If prints show inconsistent extrusion, poor surface finish, under-extrusion, blobs, stringing, or dimensional issues after tuning, inspect the nozzle for wear or clogging. Replacing a worn brass nozzle is often faster and more reliable than trying to recover a badly damaged one.
