The PEI spring steel sheet is a double-sided 3D printer build surface designed for compatible heated bed systems. This 2-piece set includes a flexible spring steel sheet with both smooth and textured PEI surfaces, plus a magnetic sheet with 3M 468MP/200MP adhesive backing for mounting to a compatible printer bed.
This double-sided PEI spring steel sheet gives you two usable print surfaces in one build plate. The smooth side is useful when a cleaner bottom finish is preferred, while the textured side can provide a different surface finish and grip depending on the filament, bed temperature, and printer setup.
Spring steel build plates are popular because they can be removed from the printer and gently flexed to help release finished prints. This makes part removal easier compared to fixed build surfaces, while still providing a reusable print platform for compatible machines.
The included magnetic sheet uses 3M 468MP/200MP adhesive backing and is designed to attach to a compatible heated bed surface. Once installed correctly, the magnetic base helps hold the PEI spring steel sheet in position during printing while still allowing the sheet to be removed when needed.
