We are proud to offer Free Standard Shipping on orders over $175 CAD (before taxes) across Canada. To ensure we can continue to provide this value while shipping from Northern Ontario, the following conditions apply:
Due to extreme weight or dimensions, the following products are excluded from our Free Shipping offer and will incur calculated freight charges at checkout:
Oversized Metal Works: Large-scale custom metal art or signage exceeding 48 inches in any dimension.
Heavy Fabrication: Firepits, industrial brackets, and heavy machinery parts exceeding 50 lbs (22.7 kg).
Bulk Wholesale Orders: Large volume orders of wood or acrylic blanks that require palletized shipping.
While we strive to reach every corner of Canada, certain ultra-remote locations (including parts of the Territories and “Air Stage” offices) may require a shipping surcharge. If your address falls into one of these zones, we will contact you with a shipping quote before processing your order.
Standard Items: Typically ship within 2–4 business days.
Custom Fabrication: Due to the design and production time in our Hub, custom laser and 3D-printed orders may take 7–14 business days to ship.
Tracking: All orders (except letter-mail eligible items) include a tracking number provided via email once the label is created.
We currently ship select products to the United States. Please note that the buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees imposed by customs. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
We want you to be as proud to own our gear as we are to make it. At dnb3d, we stand behind our craftsmanship with a clear, honest return policy.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all standard “Ready to Ship” and non-customized “In-House” manufactured products (such as our standard series wood art, clocks, and 3D printer parts).
Condition: Items must be in their original, unused condition and packaging.
Timeline: You must initiate your return request within 30 days of receiving your order.
Due to the nature of digital fabrication, items that are personalized (names, specific dates), bespoke commissions (custom CAD designs), or modified dimensions are Final Sale once production has commenced.
Note: We will always send a digital proof for custom orders. Once you approve the design and we “hit the start button” on the laser or 3D printer, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
If your item arrives damaged during shipping or has a manufacturing defect, we will make it right immediately.
Please email support@dnb3d.ca within 48 hours of delivery.
Include photos of the damaged item and the exterior packaging.
We will either ship a replacement at no cost to you or issue a full refund.
For Defects/Damages: Mj’s Contracting (dnb3d) will cover the cost of return shipping.
For Change of Mind: For standard returns under our 30-day guarantee, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Free Shipping over $175 applies to standard shipping within Canada. If an order is deemed ‘Oversized’ or ‘Heavy’ as defined below, we will contact you with a shipping quote before fabrication begins.
Definition of Oversized or Heavy Items
To maintain our Free Shipping over $175 offer, we must distinguish between standard gear and high-mass industrial builds. An item is classified as Oversized or Heavy if it meets any of the following criteria:
Weight: Any single item or combined order exceeding 22kg (approx. 50lbs).
Dimensions: Any package where the longest side exceeds 120cm (approx. 48 inches), or the combined length and girth exceed 330cm.
Material Exception: Certain solid steel firepits, large-scale CNC metal signage, or bulk “Maker Bundles” of wood/filament that require palletized shipping or specialized crating.
Remote Locations: While we strive to ship across Canada, certain “Beyond Point” or extremely remote northern regions may require a shipping surcharge regardless of order value.
The Process for Oversized Orders: If your order is flagged as Oversized or Heavy, we will not charge your card for shipping immediately. Instead, we will contact you within 1 business day with a real-time freight quote from our Hub in Marathon. You will have the option to proceed with the surcharge or cancel the order for a full refund.
